Eyebrow Lamination in Adelaide - Before and after photos
What is Brow Lamination?

Brow lamination is one of the latest trends in cosmetics and it continues to gain in popularity as more and more people crave those perfectly shaped brows. So what exactly is it? Basically, Keratin eyebrow lamination is similar to a perm, only instead of curly hair the objective is fuller, fluffier and lifted brows.

With this technique, the hair is lifted and straightened and then set into place so that it all stands in the same direction. It can provide results similar to microblading but without the need for needles. The effects of Keratin eyebrow lamination can last for 4-8 weeks and can be customised to help you achieve natural shape you never knew you had along with tamed brows.

It’s really quite simple. With our keratin eyebrow lamination, your unruly eyebrow hairs are realigned so they all fall into your desired position and are much easier to manipulate. The result is instantly fuller-looking eyebrows that use your existing hair to achieve the look you want.  There’s no need for applying extra color using harsh chemicals or taking medications to promote hair growth.  You can correct the shape of your brows, lift the hairs or both through this one simple procedure.

Do you have unruly brows with rogue hairs that grow in random directions? Have your brows become thinned due to age or previous cosmetic treatments? By infusing keratin into the brow hairs, they can be smoothed so that they’ll sit more uniformly on the skin. Keratin eyebrow lamination produces results similar to microblading, without the use of tattoos or dyes. It’s all your existing hair, with a nice, even just-combed effect, so it looks completely natural.

The relaxing 60 minute treatment can include a brow sculpt and tint if necessary to enhance the look of your brows even more.  Depending on your hair growth type and amount of hair, your artist can advise you whether this treatment is beneficial for your brows.

AFTERCARE

In order to achieve the best results from your Keratin eyebrow lamination you’ll need to take special care of your brows after treatment. For the first 48 hours, you should avoid getting your brows wet, which means no steam baths, saunas and excessive sweating. After the setting period, you can begin treating your brows normally by simply brushing the hairs into place every morning with a mascara wand with use of your aftercare brow growth oil daily.

Other things to avoid during the first 48 hours post-treatment include:

·       Do not apply any make-up or undertake further eye treatments.

·       Do not allow prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or heat.

·       Do not apply Retinol or Vit A products, AHA's or exfoliate around the brow area for 72 hours before or after

         treatment.

·       No self-tanning products should be used on the face for one week prior to and 48 hours after treatment.

Certain skin conditions like eczema or dermatitis may make it impossible for you to have a keratin eyebrow lamination. You should consider any cosmetic procedure carefully and don’t be hesitate to ask your technician before booking your procedure.
